Waiting for the labor day deals. Maybe this can be combined for a hotter deal with store sale and rebate. Keep checking.

That's true. For local shops, tires will be limited to what's in the warehouse. I believe they had an earlier rebate in the year. Looks like they are clearing out the tires. Best deal would be if you do the company deals + tire company + company credit card REBATES.

Walmart stacks Hankook and usually have the cheapest prices. I bought my Hankook K120 Ventus Evo 2's from there and they are the best summer tires I've tried. Wet traction is amazing. Just don't get them installed at Walmart auto center for the love of cars, go anywhere else. Discount Tire or wherever.

Definitely wait for Labor Day. Discount Tire Direct will surely be running a promo that stacks with this.

I bit. Ordered a staggered set of 19" Ventus V12 Evo2. for $703.96 - $100 rebate - $28.16 cashback from Mr. Re Bates = $575.80 no tax, free shipping from DTD.

I also called discounttiredirect after my order asking about throwing in the certificates like Tirerack does. They wouldn't match it but they did give me 1 for free so I paid $66.50 to add the 4 certs to my tires.
