There is no standard 8GB version for the 470, and if you go with 8GB you'll end up paying an additional $20-$30. IMO, at that price, you're better off with a 480, keeping the fan setting on quiet.

This is pretty tempting. Have one sitting in my cart at $171.38. I really want to get a GTX 1060 but those are almost $90-100 more.

The low-end cards start at $179.99. Cards with upgraded cooling & overclocks tend to be priced higher. This one has the Twin Frozr VI cooler (ultra quiet) and a decent overclock, so it retails for $199.99. $172 is a good deal if you can get it.

It's also in stock at Newegg for $199.99 + $4.99 shipping.

wouldnt the $199 rx480 be a better buy, if it ever comes back into stock?

Yup, I've been waiting, along with 1060. Looks like the reviews for the 470 is decent but not enough of an upgrade for me. Rx480 at 200 is a no Brainerd (even vs 150 for the gtx 1060) but it's so hard to find.

Sure, but no stock in sight.

A gtx 1070 is suppose to be $380, but there hasn't been a single card sold at that price at retail price.

This card is with AIB custom fan and 8-pin power. I can't find an RX 480 4GB with those features for $199. Most of those I see on Newegg are $220 - 250, maybe Jet will carry some of those cheaper in future.

Reviews for this card looks pretty good.

Jet constantly baits and switches especially with video cards I suggest avoiding them completely.

If you're referring to the 1070 Asus Strix from that Jet deal then that was probably just a listing error as the OC and non OC cards do have ridiculous code names that were probably legitimately made to confuse people.

In any case, all the 10XX cards overclock to the same clock as their counterparts.

Thanks for this deal! I was having major trouble with NewEgg with their verification process with VISA Checkout. I ended up getting one from Jet for like 10$ cheaper! Thank you so much!
