I got this a couple of years ago for this price. Very lucky since it was a price mistake. Great monitor!

Oh, the model I have is the 34UM65-P. It looks like the only thing that is different is the stand. I paid for the monitor not the stand. laugh out loud

Recently bought this monitor and the pixel density is an issue for me. Been using a 1440p for years and this one just looks so blurry on the desktop. Games look good though

why on earth would you downgrade resolution?

I wouldn't buy anything under 1440p for games now that GPUs are so powerful... until then, I'm still rocking my craptastic 1080p display

I definitely want to get ultra wide, but not 1080p like this deal

heck, I think 4k panels aren't that much more

I got it for a second computer, which was going to be mainly for work. But it's going back, unusable for non-gaming for me.

My Rocket League skills were noticeably better with this monitor though...

For the same reason pixel density is such an issue for people, the pixels are easier to see! Smilie

The pixels are literally bigger, so that translates into 'bigger' objects to focus on for your eyes and is absolutely helpful for most type of gaming.

It doesn't look great, but if you don't play games with awesome graphics anyway it's not a big deal.

I play a lot of CSGO, 7DtD, Evolve, BF4 and others that don't have 'life like realism' graphics and this works perfectly fine for me. I'm also 'blind,' so bigger = better! (TWSS)

But yeah, general desktop usage, graphics, or those wanting better ppi, shy away.

This is basically an equivalent to a 27" monitor with 1920x1080 resolution in terms of clarity; and it doesn't look good. Then stretch it to ultrawide with an extra 640 pixels. For 34", 3440x 1440 is almost a necessity. Because with that, it's basically as tall as a 27" 2560x1440 resolution, but stretched with an extra 880 pixels.

I know, "stretch" isn't really the proper word here.

After seeing this monitor in person, I agree with people commenting about the pixel density on this 34" ultrawide 1080p. 29" is better suited for this resolution, but even then I would just stick to my 27" 1440p.
