One annoying thing with this software is that it doesn't have a white-list feature. I had to remove it because of that very reason. If it flags a false positive it removes it.

I had the same problem here. Other than that it's pretty great.

Anyone knows if this can be purchased and activated later say 6 months from now?

Last year I bought this software and activated it nearly 10 months later with no problem. In fact, I've done it multiple times. Make sure you save the download email from Newegg with the license code.

Actually, it does. There is a "Block/ Allow Files" tab in the PC Security settings and an "Application Protection" tab in the Identity Protection settings. You also can restore an item from the Quarantine tab in the PC Security settings.

Yes, you can buy 5 now and have 5 years of AV for $25. I did this a while back (bought 4 for $24) and just activated the 2nd one with no problems a year later.

I installed this after 60 day trial of Norton Security in MSI GP laptop.
Webroot reduced the initial booting time and virus scan became quicker.
Not sure for other features but with a discounted price (1yr 5PC version/$15 at Frys.com with promo), it is worth to try.

Haven't used neweggbusiness site before... any restrictions? Or do they sell to regular consumers too and not just businesses?

Here's a negative review from Newegg website:

Worthless! Impossible to renew for previous Webroot users.
“If you already had Webroot on a device, Webroot won't let you activate this protection. They demand you buy directly from them at a much higher price. Read more ”

You can just buy another 3 pack on sale and change them over to the new license when the first expires. I buy it on sale, then wait to activate until the previous year is about up. If you "renew" through Webroot, then it is full retail price.

Edit - sorry for the old thread bump. Misread the date.
