They run off my old Craftsman 6500 watt generator. All 10 of my UPS run off it too. I think it depends on the generator.
It will not convert simulated sinewave to real sinewave when running off AC from a generator.

I already have two of these (one for main computer, one for entertainment center).

This is a fantastic deal for those that are looking for a solidly reliable UPS (with a bonus)!

It seems that Cyberpower provides 3 year warranty on UPS.

Best deal so far was $135 and that was plus tax and without the 3-outlet surge protector! Well, this does make audio equipment noisy. Both my mixer and headphone amp get tons of noise.

On the battery life, too? I've had two APC battery back ups that would last like less than a handful of minutes on battery after a few years. IIRC, that loss of battery time wasn't covered under warranty and I essentially had a really expensive surge protector.

The surge protector makes audio equipment noisy, or the UPS. Shouldn't a pure sinewave be a good thing for audio equipment?
