I don't believe tamron makes this with IS though :/ Sony has a rebadged version for their A mount system as well, also without IS

This is an excellent lens for Sony Alpha cameras, such as the a77, a99, and older models. Great price for a new one.

This is full-frame compatible, so it's a nice and cheap alternative to the $2k+ Zeiss 24-70mm.

Remember that A-Mount cameras have stabilized sensors, so IS in the lens would be superfluous anyway.

You guys took my statement out of context. I'm replying to a poster that wanted to use this lens on "both my canon and a6000", which both to not have IS, so I informed him there is no IS in the lens.

And yes, I had a Sony A57!

One of my best cameras, I just wish sony would continue to put as much effort into A mount as it does for E mount!
