Read the amazon reviews linked, saw a post about a hardcoded password exploit and it looks like there is more info here: http://blog.trendmicro.com/trendl...-backdoor/

Also saw alternative firmware is not available such as DD-WRT and the link to firmware updates above was last updated in 5/2015, which is after the exploit was discovered and supposedly Patched [trendmicro.com]

I may still get one of these to use as an internal access point/switch.
