Thread Details

Hi

Didn't see this posted yet, but was looking through Wal-Mart for the clearance GreenWorks hedge trimmer and came across this item:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Greenwo...r/47389625

$69 on clearance, so YMMV depending on the stores in your area.

Item ID: 47389625

bmseek.tk

brickseek
http://brickseek.com/walmart-inve...u=47389625

They also had this item on clearance as well, for those in need of a weed-whacker:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Greenwo...r/47389624

$69 on clearance also, YMMV.

12" Cordless Chainsaw was $99, so I'm gonna wait that one out a little longer to see if it drops further.

Best part of getting these is that they come with the 40V Li-Ion battery and charger! Although not the more powerful 4Ah or 80V version, but still, for only $69 I won't cry too loudly!

Good luck!

Amazon link with more believable reviews: https://www.amazon.com/GreenWorks...merReviews

Those walmart reviews seemed odd.

All sold out near me and I actually need a battery-powered leaf blower too. I have to blow the grass away after edging the sidewalk and driveway.

My local store also had WORX and Black & Decker battery-powered cordless blowers on sale, albeit the 20V kind.

These probably work fine as sweepers for what you're looking to do, but perhaps not for blowing wet leaves from the lawn.

Also, I saw they are cheaper by about $20 or so, if that helps any.

Good luck!

Does anybody know the most accurate way to gauge Walmart's inventory? According to Brickseek, there are none available in two local stores that have it at the clearance price. But when I go to walmart.com, it says "buy online for pickup today" at both stores. All other stores have a pickup date in the future, but those two say today, which implies they have them in stock.

Edit to add: I trust walmart.com's "pickup today" more than brickseek. I stopped by a local store during my lunch break and they had a few in stock, like their site said (although the tag said it was $99, but it rang up as $69). They also had the Worx version and the B&D version. Brickseek was showing 0 in stock over the last few days. So if it shows the discounted price but none in stock, I'd recommend adding to your cart and seeing if it lets you pick it up today.

Was it the 40V? I thought it was the smaller volt version, but maybe I missed it.

Some Wal-Marts have further discounted the prices to $35 each!

YMMV, of course, but check Brickseek to validate pricing!

Return/rebuy worked like a charm, just mentioned that price might have dropped in the last week, and if they could please check, though of course I already knew it from Brickseek.

One caveat was that you return/rebuy from the same store you originally purchased, and with the receipt, no need to bring in the items, the receipt was all I needed.

Good luck!

Got mine, thanks OP. Tad bit underpowered, but at the very least, it's a backup battery for the greenworks snowblower I got in a previous deal. Haven't used it yet, but I can see us needing to swap batteries while working.

They also had the Worx one, but I may return that since it's corded.

I went to try to find the blower tonight at Walmart. None on the shelf but there was one display. It was zip tied to a high shelf. I scanned it on the Walmart app, price was $144. Found some lawn cutters, cut the zip ties and took it to price checker = $35. Sweet deal to go with my new $35 WM green works hedge trimmer and Target PM $35 green works trimmer. Thanks OP!

And this is exactly how you alert the store personal and they get it for themselves. Doing them a nice favor...good karma for you. (just no blower).
