it is but the very thick bezel around the screen made me return it.

This is the bigger brother of the FP Deal that was posted last Friday. This unit has more RAM (12 vs 8 GB), a bigger SSD (512 vs 256 GB) and a better Proc (i7 vs i5) than the other deal.

I ordered this last night for my daughter who starts college in a few weeks. It looks to be a pretty solid laptop. She liked it better the 15.6" model (in the other FP post) with the same specs, and frankly, I did too. The keyboard on the 15.6" is the same size as the 13" so there is useless empty space to the left and right of the keyboard on the larger model.

Hi all, I got the following 15" I7 Yoga 710 below a few days ago for $749.99 with EDU discount.

Lenovo - Yoga 710 15 2-in-1 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive
(http://www.bestbuy.com/site/lenov...Id=5225018)

Should I keep this or return and go with this Dell? Dell has smaller screen, has lesser RAM (12GB), has thicker bezel and no NVIDIA 940MX card like the Lenovo. However, Dell has double storage (512 GB SSD) and USB-C. Appreciate any feedback on this.

You guys need to use the edu coupon which you can sign up for on their website. Don't actually need an edu email, just mark yourself as a student.

Question for the computer guys - Is the link I posted above a better overall value than the these Dell deals? Specifically how does that Satellite stack up vs the i5 256GB SSD 8GB RAM and the i7 512G SSD 12GB RAM?

My thoughts are that I'm pretty surprised the Satellite deal doesn't have more hype as it seems like a damn good deal for the i7 upgrade. Am I missing something?

guy with yoga 710 don't you like the slimNess and beauty of bezelless screen. I got this one too and amazed by the design and aesthetics. This Dell will be no where near to yoga 710 in terms of beauty and screen and other specs
