Issue with [SIZE] Tag

SweetestDeals 7,114 4,865 August 9, 2016 at 08:44 AM
As you can see in this image [d.pr], when I paste something containing the SIZE="1" tag (for example), it doesn't translate correctly. But when I use the toolbar to insert the exact SAME tag, it works like it should.
Am I missing something?? Scratchhead

That is an interesting bug, SweetestDeals.

Some questions. One thing I'm noticing is the first time you paste, it didn't work? Is that because it wasn't copied yet or because it just failed to paste?

Second thing is I'm noticing you're copying/pasting in bullet points for the list item directly rather than using the toolbar to create the list. That should be fine, but from where are you copying this text (notepad, Word, the website, etc.) if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks.

Hope that helps.

Yes, it does, thank you. But I apologize in advance for needing to ask more questions; I may need to do so in order to pinpoint the problem, and some of the questions might not all come to mind at once.

Has this always happened to you, or did it recently start?

Does it happen every single time you directly paste from TextEdit? So, for example, if you were to redo the steps in your screen capture but, instead of using the toolbar to use the size tag, you copy/paste the whole thing again and click Preview, would it still not translate the [SIZE] tag correctly?

Could you also please copy the post text directly from TextEdit and paste it into your reply? Thanks.

Not a problem, just glad to help.

So the issue is with the quotes around 1 in the SIZE tag, those quotes are not the regular ones, but rather the special ones (left & right facing). You can also set SIZE tag without the quotes around the value and that should work Smilie

Meanwhile we'll see about resolving that issue, sounds like an edge case Smilie
