Downgrade to the free basic plan (Free Basic Plan: 200 mins, 500 texts & 200MB). Remove all services. Disable Auto Top up ... $5 credit is charged to your card. After all that, it is free every month for up to 700MB data if you add friends (very easy).

Biggest catch is with these Global SIM accounts, there is no way to retrieve your voicemail unless you pay an extra monthly fee, and you cannot disable the voicemail. So people calling you leave you a message thinking that you will get it, and unless you pay you won't be able to get it.

Is there a (not expected) free for some initial few months unused data rolling?

Is this something new happened within past few days?

When I downloaded their "Voicemail" App handful of weeks ago, it was working for free, but checking it today, first it has become a "Visual Voicemail", and second it costs $2.49 per month (the account online shows the same service and fee as well).
Although when it was working, it had a funny feature too that message was playing through speaker(s) not the earpiece laugh out loud

Anyone else has this issue? My Voicemail app still works fine. And my account does not have that $2.49 service.

Yes I am. Today is my last day on the 1st bill cycle. I have downgraded everything. So I guess by tomorrow I will see if there is any charge.

On 8/8/2016, I saw this $1.99 FreedomPop 3-in-1 Global GSM SIM + Unlimited Talk, Text, and 1GB Data Trial + Free Selfie St...offer on a Facebook promotion. I followed the link to this deal, but when I entered my Zip Code and Email address, it said the deal was unavailable and redirected me to another deal link which cost $4.99. I thought that maybe this was a hot $1.99 deal that sold out really fast, so I paid $4.99 for the 3-in-1 Global GSM SIM. However, I revisited the deal page today (8/13/2016) and found that the $1.99 deal is still available!!! This made me upset because the FP website redirecting me to a different promotion felt very dishonest. I would like to know if it is possible for FreedomPop to refund me the $3 dollars difference? Or, can I cancel my $4.99 order and reorder this $1.99 deal?

Thank you very much!
[Update] Just find out another problem Frown
