I'd say spec wise that's a pretty good roll out. Don't know enough about the current market if the deal is awesome, but seems not too shabby to me if you look at the recent deals posted.

There's also this one without the dedicated GPU and extra 4GB RAM

Important note on that one is also that it has a 720p screen, making it pretty different by most buyer's standards, outside of the easily listed specs.

Issue with this is that it's a bit thick, and the plastic shell feels a bit cheap. Good specs otherwise.

Really good for under 500$. Worthwhile upgrade would be an msata ssd, 5400rpm HDDs are annoying after few months after use. Only other downside is the manufacturer, Acer isn't as bad quality as HP or Toshiba, metal/aluminum frame would've been awesome, but you gotta keep costs down somehow.
