rofl - scratched

Edit - scratch that. Just a couple odd reviews about a purse. The rest seem to be for the wallet.

I've been looking at this one for a long time. With the drop in this low price, in for one.

Base on my exaperience, the lining of this wallet should made by a kind of metallic materials which can block frequecy between 10Mhz-30Ghz, credit card are working under 13.56Mhz, work card are normally working under125Khz or13.56Mhz.
So, Yes! You have to take out your work id card if you have insert it in the blocking slot.

It shouldn't block work access cards (hotel cards, etc) cause they run on different frequencies

I am guessing the way it blocks RF is by using a conductor mesh in the material, creating Faraday cage effect, which would block any radiation, any frequency, so it doesnt matter which frequency card is working on , it would not work inside the wallet.

One could create rfid blocking using some kind of interference effect to block certain frequencies, but device like that will have to be registered with FCC as it will have an active emitter in it. So highly unlikely Smilie

in the US, pretty much no one has an rfid enabled credit card. our great Northern friend and those across the sea have a lot of them. for this in the US, a rfid blocking wallet is almost pointless, when it comes to blocking rfid signals, except it makes them feel better.

If this only had an actual money clip on it I would get this. That's a deal breaker for me. Don't know why they use it in the description.
