First post here. Didn't see it posted anywhere else. T-Mobile has this AC-1900 router (Asus RT-AC68U) available on its website for non-customers at $59 after coupon code WIFI50 with free shipping! Even better deal than the last FP deal for $99 (http://slickdeals.net/f/8680195-t-mobile-wifi-cellspot-ac-router-asus-rt-ac68u-99-for-non-t-mobile-customers-free-shipping?v=1).

Current price for this is $155.31 directly from amazon.

My husband has been looking for this router since ours is ancient. Can I just plug it in and it works as internet router...or would I have to do something special?

Yup, the previous thread's wiki contains a lot of useful information: http://slickdeals.net/f/8680195-t-mobile-wifi-cellspot-ac-router-asus-rt-ac68u-99-for-non-t-mobile-customers-free-shipping

Very nice price. Thanks OP! FP for sure.

On the product page it says "Now $49.99 with promo code WIFI50". Maybe CSR can adjust after placing order.

I have had the non t-mobile Asus RT-AC68U for 2 years and love it. It is rock solid (I think I've had to reset it once in 2 years), fast, has great coverage, and a boat load of features. It has an android mobile app to manage it through as well as the web interface, but the web interface is better. I paid $200 for it and would again in a heartbeat.

This is an absolute steal for $60. I'm tempted to buy a backup just in case anything happens to my current one.

Stephanie: Nice to meet you XXX. I would be happy to make sure that you get the promotional price on the device today. In order to get the discounted amount correct I would recommend contacting our customer care department at 1-800-937-8997 or by dialing 611 from your T-Mobile phone.

I get this error message:

Unfortunately, your information could not be verified and your order cannot be completed. Please visit a T-Mobile authorized dealer to obtain service or equipment.

I have more problems using Chase credit cards online for some reason.
