I've used similar. Mine kept phone dry when I was on bumper boats. I did submerge (old) phone in bag under water on purpose and (mine) worked fine. I would trust one of these more than a ziploc. Heavier duty plastic for one.

Why does the picture show water halfway in the bag? That would make me not want to buy it.

All the reviews I read were from people who received the product for free. Curious what someone who paid for it thinks.

Much thicker plastic, seals tightly and has a lanyard. I don't have this exact one, but I do have quite a variety of them and I trust them more than a sandwich bag in water.

I used the JOTO one from amazon up to 10 feet without issues. I was hesitant at first so I put in a single bill inside the first time I used it then later I was comfortable with my phone in it.

EDIT: This one... [amazon.com]

I got a three pack for..$15? It's a heavy plastic bag that securely closes at the end with two plastic latches that won't pop open by accident. There's a cord on it so you can hang it from your neck. It's big enough to hold a phone and that's about it. No keys or anything else but your phone will not get wet.

they all have pretty much the same design, last couple we bought were from moko and yosh I believe, both were bought off of Amazon. both worked well even though the yosh had a low grade on fakespot, the moko had an A grade I believe. but like I said functionality-wise they work the same. both close from the top with a latch that pinches the bag at the top. I tested a bunch with tissue and an old phone in a bucket but got a bit scared when my phone stuck to the bag during actual use. I checked my phone as soon as I saw it but it wasn't wet, nor was my money or id. overall, I got some great pics and was able to keep my phone with me.
