Edit: emailed promo code required

As always, the two they had available for shipping have been sold. In store only now. Older model, not the best for gaming but a great productivity monitor. VA panel, not IPS or TN.

21:9 curved panel
Wide Quad High Definition (3440x1440)
Ergonomic, height adjustable stand with Tilt functionality
4-port USB hub for easy access to peripherals
Picture-by-Picture for split screen multi-source viewing
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I bit. Curious as to why there were downvotes. Research on this monitor shows that out of the box it has a poor color reproduction, but great black levels and backlight bleed, when compared to the LG 34UC87C which I plan on returning. Even if the picture is somewhat worse, its $200 bucks less than what I spent.

Tempting, but VA panel kills it for me.

where did you see $499? Site shows $849, 15% off original $999. Not in any ad either.

Can anyone else chime in on this monitor?

I have a gtx970 but plan on upgrading to a 1070 once the prices settle a bit.
I'll be using it for gaming (Overwatch, Project Cars) but i'm not super competitive.
Will also be using it for music production.

It's on their daily ad not weekly ad. Price will reflect 499 once you enter your personal promo code.

FYI: Overwatch does not fully support 21:9.

$499 is the lowest price that I found on this monitor since I began to research to get myself one.

In my opinion, no competitive online game should support higher FOV. Seems like an unfair advantage to me. But what do I know

I would wait for the x34 to pop up again for $679. IPS panel and 100Hz with GSync

This is really a slick deal. I myself have been holding out for the mythical sub $500 Dell 34" but I don't see that happening. For office productivity and programming, this monitor is plenty good. So tempted...
