Actually, I think it is $549.99 currently (there is a thread on it). no tax from buydig for me, and up until 2 days ago, there was 8% ebay cash back (as good as cash for me)... making it $506.. My hesitation is that 43" might be too large as a PC monitor. I'm looking for more real estate for photography work and general computing.

I am using a 43" TV as a monitor at exactly 36" away and it's just right for me!!! Sony TV is supposed to be really great for a computer monitor.

Ya, I was thinking of using it as a computer monitor. Pretty good? How is it in games?

Does Discover still PM TVs and will they take gift card into account on a PM?

Dell's orders don't show the gcs, so Discover doesn't know when you file a claim. Have done this twice so far.

Edit: Did a search on slickdeals and the only deal that has a lower price is the buydig via ebay. I don't think discover allows ebay stores as a price match candidate.

It's been a while since I've been in the Dell eGift card game.

How long do you have before those expire?

It does not. None of the 2015 models have HDR. If you see any of these Sony models ending in C, it's 2015. Ending in D is 2016

I did some math on this. Tax seems to be about $50 for the set with free shipping, making the final price around $750. If you take into consideration CB, the gift cards and another 10% if you have a dell card your looking at around $310 for this TV.

$750
-300 eGift card
-70 eGift card (with 10% Dell Advantage/financing)
-70 CB from CB site
----------
$310 out the door...

Not bad if you're planning to buy from Dell within the next 3 months

To bad. That Buydig price on EBay is really good at $550, although their web site is $635, so that's something.

I think it's likely I'm going to buy this monitor but still deciding where to buy it from. Any idea how to get an eBay Squaretrade warranty on this? I don't see it as an option even though it's listed as a "New" product. eBay Squaretrade is SOOOOO much cheaper than Dell's Asurion extended warranties and also lasts MUCH longer.
