These will get better (reliable) signals than those paper thin "military technology" antennas.

Yeah, it works great as long as you're within range of the towers. I use it in my living room and it gets most stations, although the "paper thin" one does get more reception since it has an amplifier on it.

I am talking about those paper thin antennas without amplifier. With amplifier, they are at least $35.
