Looks like a POS low quality hybrid.. The design and idea is good but remember everyone this is HP... If you ever buy an HP or Toshiba or even Dell, you are buying them only because of dirt cheap prices...

I hope this will change and these companies will learn..

What makes this a low quality POS? The system specs? They're not high end but its plenty fine for everyday computing. Not everyone needs an i7 if they're just going to do some basic stuff. Is it the build quality? It's made of quality materials, it isn't flimsy or plastic. Or you just don't like the brand?

Why am I even bothering? I hate comments like this. Let people decide what they want. You don't have first hand knowledge of the product ("looks like..") so why even comment about the product?

Kaatu, you should really shut your mouth. I'm still using my dell inspiron from 12 years ago and now i'm reading your ignorant comment on my xp spectre x2.

"looks like..." is not the same as using those machines that you are calling dirt cheap. At least you could contribute to the thread by recommending a good pc that's $400.

noobhere, thanks for posting. You just saved me $160 and some tax money! repped

very interesting considering it also has a sim slot for a verizion sim card. not sure if it can be unlocked for other carriers either. currently have the spectre x360 13inch and i love it, so this would be a step down, but has some good features for the price.

Purchase this last week from antonline. Seems like a solid laptop for surfing and working with documents. Since this isn't my daily driver, I cannot give too many details other than surfing the web and working on spreadsheets. As for the LTE, I was able to put my Tmobile sim card and it does work fine. It did give me a hard time at first by losing the connection every few seconds. I'm guessing an update may have made it a bit more stable since it does work now without any disconnects.

EDIT... Today it's being a bit buggy with the LTE. It may be since I'm in a warehouse and connection is spotty, but for the most part, it has been very good on staying connected. Final edit.. After a reboot, the LTE adapter does a few disconnects, but then becomes stable.

Good try defending a POS 2-in-1. There is a good reason for firesale. For a Convertable 2-in-1 windows with included Keyboard AND LTE module for sub 400 does tell a story. Dont believe me, go check amazon and BB reviews of 3.5 stars. A solid 1-in-1 with these specs should cost upwords of 800.. The damn thing cant even run chrome browser....

If you guys need a solid 1-in-1, Dont ever buy toshiba-Hp-Dell in that order. Dell being better than rest. Go get a surface or a lenovo. Even ASUS or Acer are better if not acer..

I used to have a dell inspiron1100 in 2000. And I was using to heat up my room in winter.. LMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLMAOLOL.

FYI for those looking for advice, just don't listen to this guy. He either exaggerates everything or just has terrible luck with HP, Toshiba, and Dell. Regardless of brands, you are going to have some bad products, some manufacturer defects, or something unexpected. But these are good brands, and people who work there are dedicated to create amazing products.

Honestly, buying stuff like laptops, it's important to read reviews of ACTUAL users of the ACTUAL product, but more importantly, go to a store and physically check out the product.
