I know, I got that one, but this is still a good price and thought I'd spread the word since systems like this are much more expensive. Worth the extra 20

Did you install it yet? If so, how is it working for you? Seems like there were a lot of questions left unanswered in the other thread.

No not yet, I've been sitting on it for a month, but I plan on putting it together tonight. I know some people said it went in and out, but if it does I will find another option.

Argh, I just realized it is in-store only and not available locally for me. Oh well...

Anyone know if the cameras are compatible with LaView system? I got the 4 camera deal from Newegg . I'd like to add 4 more cameras and perhaps sell the other unused stuff on eBay or something. Thanks.

As an alternative you could also get https://www.amazon.com/Uniden-UNV...B015UPYW3U it's $50 more, you get the 16 channel NVR instead of the 8, but still only 8 cameras. If you might need 9+ cameras in the future it might be worth getting the 16 channel system.

Also Amazon will likely get it to you sooner (based on the previous comments above).

Pretty poor reviews on amazon. mostly complaints about no manual for fine tuning and poor software support.

Ordered over a month ago, they canceled my order just few days ago. I also heard the product overheats and sucks. Go to costco and by lorex, that's what I'm doing when they go on sale again.
