EDIT 8/18/2016:
Believe it or not, I called Dell back and asked if they could offer me a further discount. I stated the following,
I told them that there was a 30% off coupon available at the time i placed the order but the rep forgot to mention to me (which I really think was available)
Also, I complained about the packaging.
The package arrived with ONLY the box that wrapped the laptop, it was not inside a larger box with more padding, which I was not happy with.
So they offered me 2 options.
They'd pay for a return label and give me a full refund, or give me $93 refund to my credit card that i used to purchase this laptop, which I thought was a random amount but nevertheless I took the offer which brought my total after tax down to $505.88

New Total with further discount $505.88

So with the money I saved, I did some more research on how easy it is to upgrade this laptop and found that it was SUPER easy to do the following upgrades.
- Add 250GB M.2 SATA SSD (don't buy the PCIe as it will not work with laptop, I'm probably going with the Samsung EVO850) to the empty slot that this laptop comes with and clone the original hard drive to to the SSD to boot from, and use the stock 1TB hybrid drive as storage.
- Upgrade the ram to a total of 16GB

I can do all this for around $135, and I think I will see a significant boost in system speed

This is a YMMV Deal, but here is how it works,

Follow this Link:
Dell Factory Outlet [dell.com]

Once there,
Under Category Choose "Dell Outlet New"
Under Processor Choose "6th Gen Intel Core i5"
Under Video Choose "NVIDIA"
This should bring up a computer with below specs.

Dell Outlet Inspiron 15 - 7559 (Outlet New)
Processor: Intel Core 6th Gen i5-6300HQ Quad Core (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GHz)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5
15.6inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti-Glare LED-Backlit Display
1 TB SATA Hybrid Hard Drive (5400 RPM) with 8GB Cache
8GB (1x8GB) 1600MHz DDR3L Memory
Intel 3165 1x1 802.11ac Wi-Fi Wireless LAN and Bluetooth
6 Cell Battery
Backlit Keyboard
Windows 10 Home 64bit English
Integrated Webcam

As you can see, it's listed as $689 on the outlet
There is a chat link on top of the page.
Once in chat, tell the person you are looking at the above laptop.
Ask them if there are further discounts available, and in my case they offered me 15%.
Then i simply asked them if they could add another 3%, and they did without hesitation.

So here is the total:
Subtotal $564.98
Taxtotal $33.90
Shippingcharges $0.00
TotalPrice $598.88

I did not need to haggle much at all,
They were willing to give me 18% off without much hesitation.

For the price, i think it's a good deal.
I've seen similar laptops with the i5-6300hq quad core costing around $600, almost all of them had the GTX 950M.
This one has the same processor, but has a better video card GTX 960M.

One more note to consider, the dell outlet chat/phone closes at 9PM ET.

Somtimes good deals get thumbed down to prevent them from showing up for other people. I am not tracking laptops, so don't know if this is a great deal or not. Good for you for that you got a good deal.

do you have any idea about laptops? i5, gtx 960 , 8gb, 15" full hd is impossibly to find at 600$ and you are saying that its overpriced? LOL . OP the only reason that im not thumbing up this deal is that there is no direct link to buy it and it requires some effort to get it. However, great price and great specs

You are absolutely right, such people ruin this fantastic community. For example thanks to a sder i recently got an ipad mini 3 for 140$ , his post the first day was thumbed down (which i completely ignored) and after some days it got the positive appreciation it deserved.

Well, some posters have a legion of fans who will TU practically anything... nod

I'm not up on laptop price/specs, but I would guess that, as stated above, no direct link and it's not entirely clear what is needed to get the price and whether it could be replicated.

"But I guess i won't share my personal deals like this in the future..." you seem a little bit bitter, you didn't even add a link to product in this post btw.

Thank you for your post. I started a chat and also got a significant discount 20% off this machine (7559). Not quite as good as I got about a month ago, but within $15. If you don't ask...you don't get kissed.

Thanks agaiin.

Lots of ebayers wanting to bury a deal rate negative. Once the OP gets defensive people neg it for fun hoping for a reaction. Post again next time. Haters gonna hate.

Ordered the same model a few weeks ago but with the I7 and 4K touch screen through the Outlet via Chat since you can never score them directly - with 2 year premium support and total care - all together about 720.00 they had a 35% promotion I noticed on dell twitter feed. I am sure during the back to school and black friday periods this model will drop. I also upgraded to 16GB DDR3 GSkill Low Latency, Intel 8260 WiFi Card, 480GB M2 SSD and a 500GB Samsung EVO for storage - boot into Win 10 Desktop about 6-7 seconds. A Definite beast of a machine
