$699 at MS EDU store now. Any way to trick BB into price match and THEN use Student discount?

The surface pro i5/8gb/256gb is on sale at microcenter for $900 with student discount, in store pick only though . I believe best buy will also price match, they price matched the surface book for me. Here's the link

Every damn one of these things should have 8 gb RAM. The only reason why they have 4 is to either upsell you to make you spend an extra $400 or make you replace the thing in a year because it's way too slow.

I will parrot that 4GB of RAM in this price range is absurd. Especially without the keyboard included.

How come they never have the m3 version on sale? I want the one that's gonna run the coolest out of all of them. You hear about the i5's and i7's getting hot and somewhat noisy, 'cause the power.

I haven't witnessed it firsthand, but my i3 SP3's been nothing but cool and quiet. For that reason, I'd like the base model of the SP4 as well.

Is there too much difference between Core M3 and Intel core i5 processors?
