Just picked up one at my local target. 59.99 - 20% coupon = 47.99 + tax

So what makes this controller all that great and will this replace the $130 XBox Pro controller ?

Apparently, it has a textured finish on the underside to help improve grip, but the main difference is that this one has bluetooth built in, so it can connect directly to a PC or smartphone/tablet without the need for the adapter that is required by the older models. Although the Pro is still the more enhanced controller. This one is really just meant to replace the basic XB1 gamepad. They should definitely add these new features to future Pro models though.

For $130 + they should but maybe they will need to mark it up just a bit more...

You would think so, but it looks like the new controller is selling for the same $50 that the old model was and retailers have dropped the price of that one to around $40.

So it stands to reason that they would do the same with the pro.
