Why the TD? Looks okay at a glance.

I kind of like how its a warm white instead of all these cheap lights being cool white with ugly blue or purple tint. Next mode memory seems dumb though. I dont hate it for 6 bucks. The Thorfire for 7 bucks was a great deal but this is decent for someone looking to use regular ole batteries.

This light has NEXT-MODE MEMORY. Meaning that if you turn it off then the very next time you turn it back on it comes on in the next mode.vomit

Argh. Yeah I hate this feature too. I accidentally bought some that do that and find it quite annoying. I seem to have to hit the button way too many times to get the normal bright flashlight mode.

I didn't TD it, to each their own, but I'd rather two of these slightly larger, single mode guys from china a month later for the same price.

105 lm for 1 hour seem quite inefficient for an AA powered LED flashlight -- specs that I'd expect from those cheap, inefficient $3 Sipik SK68 clones. I've seen comparable output and runtime from budget lights running off one AAA (with 25~40% of the energy of an AA) -- the $7 ThruNite T01 for instance is rated at 125 lm for 40 minutes and here is a XP-E2 AA lights [amazon.com] that outputs 100 lm for 3.5h. Note that all specs are mfr supplied as there are no thorough CPF/BLF-esque user reviews of the Revtronic.
