Crucial M500 480GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - $99

Sold by third party goHardDrive

These are most likely old stocks, but Crucial has been a reliable brand.

This is faster than the ADATA Premier SP550 480GB which was on the front page for $94 less than a month ago.

I've never seen a drive labeled like this. The one that is shown HERE [tweaktown.com] is very different. Makes me very suspicious whether it's a genuine Crucial drive or not.

BTW, there is a typo in the OP. It's $99.99 but the OP rounded it off to $99. I'm sure it won't be a deal breaker for most people but it should be noted for accuracy purposes.

It's a nice deal - I'm not sure why people are hating on this. Thumbs up OP!

This is an OEM version of the Crucial M500.

Benchmarks are similar:

This drive is also faster than the ADATA Premier SP550 which was on the front page for $94 less than a month ago:

FYI, Micron owns Crucial and is its parent company.
