This is a weekly thread for deals at stores other than CVS. Please post your best deals at the stores you shop at (not limited to drugstores). I'll get us started. I'm liking Mitchum at Wags. I got a $2 in points wyb 2 offer that I loaded to my card. The deal looks like this

2/$6 - $2 q x 2 = $2 and get $2 back in points

There's also a 5x's everyday points offer in the ad, 5x's everyday points offer loaded to my card, and a 5x's everyday points cat (the cat and ad offers may be the same - won't know until tomorrow). That's potentially 15% of your purchase back in points.

The Almay deal continues at Wags. Bogo 50% and get $2 in points wyb 2. There's a $4 q to go with it and everyday points.

If your Wags store is doing a remodel, check for clearance. There are some absolutely amazing prices. I'd break the internet if I told you what I paid for some things.

Is it possible Mitchum 2,000 points WYB 2 is a monthly deal? I believe it was advertised last week in the ad, and it's still showing up on Walgreens.com this week. Was in store today but didn't pay an ounce of attention to it. Would really, really be nice if it was...

I know that's different than your load to card offer, but wouldn't it be awesome if YOU could get both?

Wags hasn't been great with signage recently so it may very well be. That would be awesome!! My offer said Thank You so I'm guessing it was for how much Mitchum I got over the last month... laugh out loud

RED HOT DEAL ALERT!!

Everybody probably already knows this but I didn't so here goes. Target has a $5 GC wyb 4 Uniliever items and there are 25% off cartwheel offers on everything. Add in the mq's and there should be some incredible deals. The cartwheel offers expire tomorrow so you've only got one day to do this. I'll be at Target when they open at 8 am.

My totals are coming up all wrong and I'm having issues with ecb's saying already redeemed when they haven't been. It looks like CVS is printing the same barcode for multiple ecb's on certain deals that have a limit of more than 1. At least that's what somebody else said and it seems like a good explanation to me. I'm just having too many problems with CVS right now. My plan is to spend all of my ecb's and shop more at Wags. RA has an awesome promo starting the 28th. The sky isn't falling but it is time to bail on CVS. I heard today that CVS may stop selling alcohol. We need alcohol to deal with all of the register problems... laugh out loud

One more point. I'd be leaving CVS anyway even if they weren't doing all of this nonsense. Wags is getting good again. The last 2 months have been excellent. CVS runs the same boring ad week after week. I fall asleep when I read it...zzzzzzz

CVS is priced a dollar or two higher than Wags on many items and now they want to crack down on couponers. You have to coupon just to keep CVS prices in this galaxy. They are the most expensive retail store. Wal-Mart is usually 50% cheaper than CVS. CVS used to have great customer service but now CVS and Wal-Mart are pretty much the same. Why shop at CVS? There are so many other choices and everybody is cheaper.

The point of this thread is to offer CVS shoppers an alternative. If you're happy at CVS or have a better plan than I do for shopping at CVS then by all means stay there. I'm not trying to pull people away from them. I want to get a deals thread going for people who are looking for something else.

Don't we already have dedicated threads for each of these: walgreen, rite aid, Cvs, etc.,..?//

Sure, but the point of this thread is - if you used to shop at CVS but aren't going to this week because of the new coupon policy, what deals are you going to do? If there isn't a need for this thread, people won't post anything and the thread will die off. I can't post every deal because I don't know them all. For example, I knew about the GC deals at Target but I didn't know about the 25% off cartwheel offers. Hopefully, this thread will help somebody who otherwise would've missed it. Tomorrow is the last day to do it.

Maybe I should say how I found out about the Target deal for tomorrow. I was looking in hot deals and saw the $5 Harry's razor kit at Target. I started reading the comments and somebody said that cat litter was on sale at Target. I did a google search for it and found out about the cartwheel offers for Uniliever. I didn't find it from the Target thread. Since I don't usually follow the Target thread, I would've completely missed it.

There's a mm deal for Rhinocort in the RA thread but the deal is way too complicated for me and I didn't get the targeted offer. I think it's still a mm without the targeted offer but I'm going to pass unless somebody can break it down for me so that it's easy to do.

Ralphs has an All deal - buy 2 All detergents and get a free Snuggle fabric softener. There are $2/2 All/Snuggle q's that expire on 8/16. I don't shop at Ralphs very much but here's my thought

4 All x $2.99 = $11.96 + 2 free Snuggle $0 - $2/2 q x 3 = $5.96 for 6 items

They also have 24 packs of Crayolas for $.49 limit 4. Regular price is $2.99. I was there tonight and they have them in stock. I'm not usually a Crayola buyer but it looks like a pretty good price.

Basically, no more expired CVS coupons and no more overrides if a CVS coupon doesn't work (for any reason). At first it didn't seem like a big deal but then everything started going wonky. I had transactions that should've been free cost me $10 so I had to walk out. Then the register started rejecting my ecb's as already used when I ripped them off of my receipt right in front of the cashier. If a deal had a limit of two, the register was printing the same ecb for the first and second deal so that the second deal would come up already used. The cashiers would say sorry, there's nothing we can do. I decided to cash out and shop someplace else. I still have some ecb's left but nothing that's expiring this week so I don't have to go to CVS. I'm excited about Target today. There should be so many great deals. I figure that I'll pay for my first basket(s) and then get everything else for free and end up with a zillion on GC's at the end. It should be fun... Yahoo!

Check the yes to cucumber etc. products too w/ cartwheel should be free close to free for the 3.99/2.99 items.

Also saw a 5,000 pts wyb 15 for wags someone got today.
