Hi, I know this is a week late, but hopefully it might help some of those that don't have access to a paid TV subscription and still want to watch some of the Olympics.

If you're in the US military, or affiliated with it, you can get an AAFES ShopMyExchange.com account. With that account, you can authenticate with NBC to watch their complete coverage of every olympic event from start to finish here: http://www.nbcolympics.com/live-stream-schedule

This is really useful for those cord-cutters who don't pay for a TV subscription but still want to watch excellent Olympic coverage. It's been my experience that NBC has the best quality streams and the best coverage (don't watch their TV channels, they're utter garbage, filled with melodramatic athlete bios and reality tv-like nonsense). Their streams are complete, from start to finish, no doubt the best way to experience the Olympics.

Finally, as a bonus, I created a way to block NBC ads from appearing in the online streams. You can find out how to do that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10QVeINgb8Y
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Using this URL as an example stream (Women's Cycling road race, really good btw): http://stream.nbcolympics.com/wom...-road-race

Below the stream window, there should be a Sign In button. Click it and once that screen loads, there's a "Select from full list" drop-down box to choose your providor. Second from top of that list is "AAFES - The Exchange, Military BX/PX" which will take you to a special AAFES website to login and authenticate with NBC.

Also, I really do recommend doing the ad-blocking part of the original post as well. All it entails is replacing/editing your Windows hosts file to block ad.auditude.com
