I recently switched from comcast business to the ooma service after talking to a few friends. My bill for comcast was around $250 a month laugh out loud and running my own small business I would love to save money anywhere I could. So far, I must admit that I'm surprised by the quality of calls and pricing from Ooma. Customer service was great as well and I got the product pretty fast. I'll post a another review down the line but so far...5/5 for me!

The handset is pretty much a must have if you use Ooma premium and want to use the instant second line. I have one of these, plus a 5 handset Panasonic cordless phone system tied to my Ooma.

The service is great, Switched over to this server from Comcast, and don't regret my decision, and they are great with their customer service.

I love my Ooma but did not like the handset. It died on me way too early. I use the 3 unit Panasonic set and it works great. Call quality is so good, you'll never know this is VOIP. I use it to call Canada almost every night.

You still have to pay a small monthly rate for this service though, is that right?

They asked for my current number to check if it could be ported and they said it could - but there is a $40 fee for porting.

Yes, there is a small fee to cover regulatory fees. I pay a little less than $4 per month.

Who pays the regulatory fees on my "free" Ooma I purchased refurbished from Fry's years ago?

Does anyone know how that APP is with the telo? I have the Office but not the telo. Latest version of the Ooma Office APP works great. Just don't know about the telo.
