Quick question and not a thread crap. But why would you buy a refurbished Dyson with half a warranty when you can buy a new Dyson V6 Mattress or Dyson V6 Trigger for $160-$200? Granted it doesn't have the same accessories but is the same actual vacuum?

To vacuum the floor without getting on your knees?

I guess I should have mentioned that I personally had the attachments from a dead DC35 (purchased in 11/2012) that should fit. With that in mind, there probably isn't another reason for me to make this purchase of a refurbished product, am I correct?

with this being the motorhead version, does the head unit of the trigger have the connections to support the motorhead attachment?

I guess that only matters if your DC35 had a motorhead attachment in the first place.

This version (even over the SVO3) has a MOTORIZED brush head driven by the BATTERY. The other models use a cleaner head that is powered by the suction of the vacuum itself. The Mattress and Trigger version might not have the power connection on the down tube to support the SVO4 (this model) cleaner head.

Now, with all of that said, I just bought this two weeks ago for $199 from the earlier Slick Deal and am a happy camper. It came within a couple days and looks and works great. There was nothing wrong with it, and looked brand new. The only thing was, it comes in a plain brown box. It also requires you to provide the two mounting screws to hang the charging unit on the wall. I use it for quick in-between cleanings of my regular Dyson. I hate stepping on crumbs in the kitchen with bare feet!

You need a "motorhead" vacuum to power a motorhead-head(?). You can just buy the motorhead-head accessory and expect it to work with the vacuum.

Seems to be dead to me. Link doesn't work and searching on the site shows it, but that link doesn't work either. (Mobile)

Picked up one of these from eBay, great vacuum, solid suction. I ended up paying $185 with a bonus on eBay Bucks.
