check out the following link. Lot of bags are on sale for up to 25% off.

Pro tip: ebags.com will price match with their 110% pricematch policy. you can say that extra couple of bucks right there if you're willing to call them.

not sure how long this promotion is going on for but act quickly.

starting to hunt for a new backpack...something good for travel and back and forth to work. Will pretty much always have a minimum of one laptop. Anybody have any thoughts between these bags? I like the thought of TSA friendly but I already have precheck.

Considered some of the Tumi bags but just can't stomach the price.

Website or mobile app works. On the website just scroll down past your statement info. On the mobile app, in the bottom right hand corner, there's an icon and text for Offers.

pricing is actually pretty bad compared to what these bags can be had for when Amazon isn't running a "sale". Discounts are usually much greater than 25%.

I have to disagree, I get what you're saying in regards to Amazon inflating prices to make it seem like you're getting a discount but in this particular case Timbuk2 really doesn't have sales like this.

If you go on Timbuk2's website for example of the bags are still there marked at regular price or if they are on sale the sale price is not as good as the price that Amazon was advertising.

I ended up saving a couple hundred dollars getting the price match plus 10% off the difference by using the Amazon pricing as leverage with ebags for example.

I mostly by only Timbuk2 because I like the brand and the quality of the bags but I only buy when they are on sale. Of course there's always can be better sales out there but I feel like this one was good enough to pull the trigger on.

Timbuk2 regularly runs sales > 30% off. They currently have a 25% off promotion going on + 10% when you sign up for email. http://www.timbuk2.com/

My point being that if you're in the market for a Timbuk2 bag, I'd advise you to wait for a better deal.

Just my 2 cents. No point in thread capping, let the voters decide drooldrooldrool

I get what you are saying and you are correct however in my experience those sales are far and few between... usually only for products that are reaching end of life and the like. well this may not be the "best" per se if you're in the market right now for any of the bags that Amazon had on sale this is a good opportunity.

Regarding TB2, I really like their products and company culture. I took a tour of their facility in SF and met many nice, hard working people. They make most of their higher end bags in house and once in awhile you can find them on sale. If one is ever in The City, call them to to schedule a walk through as they are very accommodating.

For reference, I bought the Timbuk2 Command Laptop Messenger Bag (Medium) from Amazon on July 4th for $88.99. Today, the price is $111.75.

Yeah man, it's a good deal off MSRP. If people wanna buy, Timbuk2's a great brand. I personally prefer to wait for deeper discounts.

I have the Rogue laptop bag and it has done a great job with work travel/vacation. It can fit up to a 15" laptop in the back pocket and another laptop,if you wish, in the main compartment. Inside the main compartment there is a couple of smaller pockets for the little things. You can also easily fit rolled up clothes and fill the backpack to the top. Great all around backpack that is my daily driver for work and has also survived a trip to Greece.
