It's going for $1400 with enhanced delivery = you don't need to pack it back up to return

http://www.frys.com/product/8601340 - $1296

Just get on chat and ask them to PM. I showed them the link from Frys. Thought it might not work because the Frys one says open box and demo models only and stock is only available at certain stores, but they let you add to cart online, after selecting a store with stock, which the Amazon sales rep said she checked. Price-matched no questions asked. Took a while though.

I figured the best deal going is Adorama via ebay for $1200, which says you can't return TVs over 47" (I know some sd'ers have managed after some effort). This deal is Amazon with enhanced delivery and easy returns for $100 more. Worth the piece of mind. Also bought 4 yr warranty for $100.

Looking forward to joining the world of OLED. Saw this at Costco and it looked amazing.

So I get the "not a good price" feedback, sort of, since it is not the best deal, as I mentioned, but you do get a better delivery and return experience from Amazon. I'm curious why anyone would say it's not a good product though. It might not be a top of the line B6, but it is still a very good TV, especially if you want to have a few people over and not everyone can watch from dead on. Hard to beat OLED picture at an angle.

It was $1100 the other day, so I went on Amazon chat and got $200 back for pricematch guarantee. Glad I didn't go with Adorama for $1200 on ebay that was front page the week I posted this deal.

If you bought it today would they price match the 1100? I've called customer service a hundred times over this but can't get a clear answer.

I tried four times to get them to match adorama or their 1100 price from last week. No rep budged for me.

Sure. When I bought the tv, the day I posted this thread, it was advertised for:
adorama on ebay $1200
Fry's $1300 (open box and limited quantities only, but let you add to cart).
Amazon $1400 with enhanced delivery (you can return it without even boxing it back up).

I didn't want to deal with possibly having difficulty with returns with ebay and adorama, but i didn't want to pay $1400 either. So I went to amazon, went on chat and asked that the tv be price matched to fry's. The rep checked that it could be added to cart and told me to go ahead and buy the TV from Amazon and she immediately changed the price to $1300 for me.

Then last week, I saw a front page deal saying that the TV was now $1100 at Amazon. I went back on chat and said, can I have a pricematch. They immediately refunded me $200. They will continue to do that for 30 days from original purchase and then my credit card will continue to pricematch most reputable prices sellers for another 60 days after that.

What I don't get is why people didn't like my deal.

delayed response but i'm betting it's because in order to capitalize on this you would have had to already purchased from Amazon. I spent the last week trying to get Amazon to PM fry's and they refused. I was on with a US based TV rep for about an hour today pushing without any luck.

I *think* that they were willing to work with you because you had already ordered the TV. I went as far as ordering the TV so that I had an order number and that still failed to work.

I went with Adorama. Fry's actually has the TV on sale for $907 but same deal (open box) and no retailer will touch it. Adorama gave it a go but denied my request, even when I said that I would potentially cancel/refuse shipment. I was nice about it but they wouldn't budge either.

I'll gladly take the TV for $1150. Fry's had the 4k version for $1257 but it's just impossible to get a PM on it (local pickup only on the Frys deal).
