The built-in speakers on the LG 29" ultrawides are surprisingly decent and have 14W of power. They won't replace good dedicated speakers, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Seems you have to double-check to make sure your HDMI can output at 2560x1080, as many older computers can only do 1920x1080 for HDMI.

So tempting. I'm on a 27", old LCD when they first came out at that size. It does do 1920x1200 though. Think this is it: http://m.tigerdirect.com/products/2148024 or the 28" version.

Am I going to notice a huge difference? I watch TV episodes and play 1 or 2 games that aren't too motion sensitive.
