Not if you buy 35 gallons of gasoline (pump max). If you do the math you are up $8.05.

424 pts, go with 40-cents off per gallon @ 35 gallons is $14 minus the $5.95 load fee and you made $8.05 in free gas!
I have been using extra 5-gallon gas cans for years now to claim the maximum amount of fuel allotted by the discount. A little extra effort using the cans to fill my 3 cars, but I've been efficient and careful at not spilling gas everywhere. Neighbors don't look at me funny anymore when they see how much money I save.

It's good if you drive a 40 gallon truck. I have 17 gallon SUV and it's a waste.

I drive a Mini Cooper Countryman, Mazda-6 and Toyota T100. Even if I only had the Mini I'd still take all 35 gallons; in fact I do. I can fit five 5-gallon cans and a smaller 2 gallon jug in the back hatch (perfect fit). The Mini has a 13 gallon tank, but with all those jugs I can get the pump max no problem.

As I said.. a little work using the cans to refill, but you get used to it and become efficient. Not really a big deal to those with the patience! I always have at least 2000 points a month due to strategized purchases (gift cards mostly, but used elsewhere like Target and Amazon for things we buy on a monthly basis anyway).

Then you need four 5-gallon cans and a 3-gallon mower can to be able to maximize. Best price on the jugs I believe was either Sams Club or Costco. They paid for themselves by how much I've saved (been doing it for years)
