Wonder why I never see any triple blade Dorco shaver deals on SD? The SD adult in me knows they aren't that expensive, but the SD kid in me says wait for a slick deal. Always the 5, 6 and 7 blade models with SD deal prices.

More than 3 blades, and they clog for me. The Mach 3 Turbo's action helps for longevity as well. I sharpen the blades on a denim swatch from old jeans every couple shaves once they start to dull/tug. I can actually shave without even rinsing if I want to, since the stubble gets pushed through the blades and they stay in contact with the skin for cutting. I wish the cartridges were cheaper, but I get enough use to validate it. With 4 or more blades I have to rinse thoroughly every few strokes. (TWSS).

Any other jeans sharpeners out there? I could use tips via PM. I use 4 layers to give some padding, and about 50 stropping strokes on average. When I asked him, the wise old owl told me only three.
One... tahoo.... tharree! Gouge.
Ouch.

I bit last time. they are pretty crappy. I thrown away both cartridges after trying shaving just once. Their 4 blade single use are much better than these.
Lucky me I bought a blister with the handle and two blades fora couple of bucks only.

Anyone who hates spending a lot of money on razors should really be using a double-edged safety razor. I get a shave that is as good or better than anything I experienced with a cartridge razor, which as little or less irritation. It is also so cheap that you won't find yourself reusing blades, which is just gross and not a great way to shave.

I use the double edge safety razor on first pass to take the brunt of the damage then go back over with one of these types of razors (although I haven't tried these specific ones yet).

Saves my more expensive razors from dulling out but I think ones like this go over rounded edges (like jaw) a lot easier.

I bought these the last time they were this price and figured I would give them a try. I gotta say, I like them better than the fusion razor I had been using. I seem to get a better shave and less nicks. I'm going to buy more and stock up because it is such a great deal. I would encourage anyone to give them a try if you are using one of the other 5/6 blade razors.

Agreed, I love these razors. But strangely enough some people don't like them. I wonder what type of beard is incompatible because for me they work better than all the expansive brand I have tried.

I purchased the pace 7 set last time around, I really like it. For the price you can't go wrong. Somehow the "release" button popped off on mine, I discovered they have really good customer service. Sent me a new one quickly.

I recently purchased the Pace 6+ and so far I like it. It seems to perform as well as the Gillette Fusion I was using before. The trimmer is sharp, so extra care needs to be taken when using it to trim side burns or below the nose. Overall, it's a good blade and I'll keep buying it as long as the price doesn't increase.
