Popped into Microcenter today and was shown an instore flyer for specials on this years 4k OLED televisions. Pricing for the 65B6P and the 65C6P were $2999 while the 65E6P was $3999. I believe the 55 inchers were $1999 and $2999 respectively as well. By far the best deal for the 2016 sets I've seen to date. Prices don't appear to reflect the sale online but for these models there is a $2000 dollar in store rebate which doesn't appear to be YMMV.

Disregard the end date on the flyer as they apparently ran this promo last month as well. I confirmed that c6p was 2999 as well even though it's not listed on the flyer

(Attached is Microcenter LG coupon flyer at the bottom of this wiki)

HELP GETTING AMAZON TO MATCH THIS!
Trying to get AMAZON to pressure LG to give them this same price nationwide. So far, with the help of people that have clicked the "tell us about a lower price" link, we've got the price down from $5997 to $4997 over the weekend. If we can get more people to do this, we can hopefully get this price at Amazon for everyone in the USA!
---------------------

8:30PM PST 8/20/16
Okay, now EVERYONE at the top on Amazon is now at $4,997 with free shipping, down from $5997 just this afternoon - Amazon, Huppins, Adorama, World Wide Stereo, and Video & Audio Center.

Keep clicking the "tell us about a lower price" link to tell them about the $3999 price on the 65E6P at Microcenter in-store with the coupon so we can get Amazon to pressure LG to give them the same deal Microcenter has and make this available nationwide!

Tell us about a lower price is about 1/3 down this page on the right:
https://www.amazon.com/LG-Electro...019O5F86W#

When I submit this lower price notice, for "Offline Store" I put "Microcenter (with LG manufacturer in-store coupon discount)" for the store name, so they know not to just check the price in-store without the coupon.

Here are the microcenter locations you can put on the Amazon notice for the price match:

Denver / Denver Tech Center
Georgia

Definitely true outside of Cincinnati. I agree though, ive been on the fence with all of the closeout deals on last years models with them being so much cheaper than the current years. my only gripe is the 1000 dollar premium ill have to pay if I want 3D and a flat panel. flyer said the prices were valid through the 1st of Sept

I just picked up the 65ks8000 from the eBay deal over the weekend. I may run up to Microcenter anyway tomorrow and see if I this is available in my area.

I was also thinking flat, but the curve on the C is pretty minimal.

agreed, it doesn't seem as severe as the samsungs but I would prefer flat and despite 3D seeming to die off id really like to have it, so that leaves 2999 for the c6p or 3999 for the e6p. I'm hoping we can get some early reviews of the new sony before I pull the trigger on this

Fantastic deal if you don't care about 3D. I've got the G6 from an LG exchange, and though it's not perfect, there certainly isn't any other line of TV I'd personally want to own right now over these OLEDs.

What is the downside to your g6

Mine has two vertical columns in the center of the screen that produce DSE like issues on all horizontally moving content. It's being replaced by LG shortly. It isn't something I'd even think k twice about on a mid range LED, but I'm a bit more picky with a high end set like this.

It also arrived seated crooked on the soundbase, but that's a cosmetic thing that will be fixed, and, to my knowledge, has only impacted my set thus far.

Outside of that, no complaints outside of some handshake stuff with the Samsung UHD player from time to time , which has gotten better with updates. That could be the player more so than the TV, though LG has been great about logging complaints and rolling out fixes in updates thus far.
