Lifetime is one of the best fitness clubs around. Their fees on the other hand seem to keep going up. So $79 today may turn into $89 in a month or two. I've been a member with them for about 4 years and their fees have went up on my about 5-6 times during that period. Just a heads up!

$79 a month? I am a gym rat and i would not pay that much for a gym membership. I pay $20 a month, and they have baby sitting too. This looks more like an advertisement than a good deal.

This isn't a Planet Fitness or a Retro gym. As a general rule, it's multiple pools, indoor and outdoor, basketball courts, racquetball, sauna and steam rooms, hot tubs, cardio and weight area that feels like it's the size of a Costco and more. It's a halfway decent gym with a country club kind of feel that seems to be overpriced unless you have children. If you do have kids the complimentary child care is fantastic. The kids play area has its own basketball court, jungle gym area, outdoor play area, and they take them on activities as well.

On the other hand, they're so into nickel and diming everyone that I do rather dislike them. There cafe is absurdly overpriced, not even taking into consideration that there portions are insignificant. The non-free classes, like small group training and even Pilates just feel like rip-offs. The spas charge the same as you would pay at a 4-5 star resort.

Realistically I'm only a member because there's nothing even close to comparable in my area. I used to belong to a gym that was half as nice (which is more than fine with me) for half the price.

I run outside for free and do light weights/bands in the living room, free as well.

The Lifetime fitness here is such a snobby place. The women have a fashion show while their nannies take care of kids and the guys only come to watch the women work out.

...and yeah, this is probably a spam post. I am sure this "manager" is your friend who needs extra commission.
