I am looking to get an upgraded headset but going to pass on this one. Full of paid reviews. Actual rating is far below 4-stars: http://reviewmeta.com/amazon/B01FZ0JC76

not if you have a newer XB1 controller with a 3.5 mm headset port.

Oddly, if you look at the 5 star reviews, a good majority of them have (seemingly) unique pictures+videos to accompany them as well as the disclaimers for the product being provided for free or at discount for their review. I would imagine they ran a campaign to get reviews which generated high volume in a short period.

I'm not trying to convince you to buy them btw, just noting that some of the "findings" could be skewed due to the above reason. Also, their most trusted review was someone unhappy about the xbox adapter while their least trusted review was dinged for:

Unverified Purchaser
Created on a high volume day
Overrepresented word count (399 words)
Admitted to receiving an incentive
Contains repetitive phrases (show)
"diza100 ps4 gaming headset with microphone for playstation 4" (Found in 2 reviews)
"all opinions are my own" (Found in 2 reviews)
"the volume control" (Found in 4 reviews)
"the headphones themselves" (Found in 2 reviews)
"let me know by" (Found in 2 reviews)
"i would highly recommend" (Found in 2 reviews)

Those "common phrases" are actually pretty common lol. Also 2/128 reviews? That's "common"? While I appreciate what the site is attempting to do... I think it is missing the mark with new or low volume reviews or even products that ran some form of campaign to garner reviews (which a lot of companies do, in this case it would appear most reviewers were up front about obtaining the product at a reduced price in exchange for their review).

Take it all with a grain of salt, either way these being $16 AC you should set your expectations accordingly.

I dunno, when the people who got it for free or at a discount give it 4.6 and those who paid full price give it a 3.2, I'm gonna have to trust the people who paid full price...

Also gets a Fakespot D grade: http://fakespot.com/product/diza1...ne-pc-blue

I got a pair of these under a different brand. The features all work decently enough for the price: they're comfortable, the sound is acceptable, and the mic... functions. The quality of key components like the cable and the 3.5mm jack are complete crap though. It's not a terrible experience while they work, but don't expect them to work well for long, and prepare to twist the jack around a lot anytime it budges from it's sweetspot. I used mine maybe 5 times within the first month before it became a really unsatisfactory experience and I sought a refund, couldn't stand having to frequently readjust the way the cable was laying to keep the left audio channel running.
