This Flash Promo is open 8/18 from 7 pm to 9 pm Pacific Time. For both new line activations and upgrades. Upgrades may sell out prior to the end of the flash period. New line activations will remain available for the duration of the entire flash period.

BLT Plan includes:

Price: $0 per Month (after one-time $38 Top-Up)
4750 Minutes / month. (+250 every month for five months. 6,000 on sixth and all later months.)
4750 SMS Texts / month (+250 every month for five months. 6,000 on sixth and all later months.)

4750 MB Full Speed LTE Data / month (+250 every month for five months. 6,000 on sixth and all later months.)

Overages are 5? per unit of Talk, Text and MMS. Data overages are billed in 1GB increments at $15 per GB. (charged against your Top-Up balance)

Upgrades will be available for both M+ and regular non-M+ members. Quantity of upgrades will be 1,350 + the number of new line activations during the flash promo. Upgrades will cost $25 for non-M+ or $10 for M+. The upgrade fee will be credited to your account as a Top Up.

Upgrades will be available at the same time as the new line flash period, Thursday 7pm - 9pm Pacific Time.

Tethering will be available for $1.99 per month. Tethering can be turned on and off, at will, and the $1.99/month price will remain available when turning tethering back on.

Eligible Devices:
Bring your own compatible Sprint/Boost/Virgin Mobile or Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile device (must be compatible to Sprint CDMA)
Click https://ringplus.net/#byosd to check for device compatibility.

Note, as of 4/17/16, all devices must pass Sprint's Financial Eligibility Date (FED) check to qualify for service/activation on RingPlus (details)

Top-Up Details:
At sign-up, the one-time initial $38 Top Up fee is charged and stored as a fund/credit on your account. This is required to cover potential overages. Your monthly allotment of 4750 minutes/texts/MMS/MB data remains 100% free of charge every month (excluding any potential costs for optional add-on services such as tethering). Any overages exceeding your free monthly allotment are charged against your stored Top Up at a rate of 5? per unit of talk, text and MB/data.

If the Top-Up balance reaches $0, another $38 Top Up fee (plus applicable telecom fees and taxes) will be automatically charged and credited to your account to cover any potential future overages.

The upgrade fee will be added soon. (1-2 days)

Note from R+ regarding the Club Upgrade Refund from GLITCH. We saw some comments on SD asking what happens to the refund from the downgrade. The refunds have been issued, but it always takes 2-3 days to appear on the credit card statements. (It's not us it's the banking system, the money never touched our bank account) Please don't clutter current offer up with more confusion, follow GLITCH here http://slickdeals.net/f/9020139-ringplus-upgrade-no-promo-code-club-sandwich-free-plan-free-mo-6-000-talk-6-000-sms-6-000-mms-and-6-000-mb-lte?v=1

Phone sources: RingPlus Store, RingPlus classifieds, Swappa, eBay, Craigslist, locally used phones (verify passes BYOD checker).
BYOD Your Own Phone - Test Eligibility here: https://ringplus.net/#byosd

If you have a top up balance >$0, you do NOT have to top up again until your balance reaches $0.

....Starting new free lines immediately from canceled phones may be delayed until billing cycle data, use placeholder workaround for immediate activation if you run into that issue.
....If you get billing cycle delay, it means until the renewal date on your plan, not a fixed 30 days. Placeholder + swap is quick fix.
....See more on cancellations at bottom of wiki.
....No upgrades during flash - except for Truly Free (excluding TFU) during the flash (top up balance required)
....Upgrades and M+ opening to be announced after flash - will be based on # of new subscriptions - update - available Aug 16th for free - social media requirement
....Downgrades to TF are no longer allowed.
....M+ is not required during the flash or upgrade
....FED - Many reports are that R+ prepaid phones that have been deactivated are passing FED checks! One iPhone 6s failed FED check May 6. There is no guarantee.
....Separate accounts are typically recommended for multiple lines - not locking into a single email address

FED - PLEASE READ ... Important Activation Notice Regarding Prepaid Phones referred to as FED = Financial Eligibility Date https://social.ringplus.net/discu...-phones/p1
As of April 17, 2016, per our carrier partner Sprint, Members and potential Members will no longer be able to activate prepaid devices which are not eligible under Sprint's FED policies (explained below). Such prepaid devices will no longer pass FED until actual eligibility date is met. This is not a new Sprint policy. It is merely a system update to the Sprint system to comply with Sprint's existing FED policies, and to close the gap in the system that allowed such devices to pass FED and be activated on carriers other than those that originally sold the device ("originating carrier").

FED - As of 4/17, in order to activate a Sprint/Boot/Virgin prepaid phone with RingPlus, the phone must have been active with its original carrier for 12 months.
  • Already activated phones are not affected because they will not trigger an FED check
  • But if you deactivate a phone, you will trigger an FED check when you (re)activate the phone.
  • You will no longer be able to activate a new-in-box Sprint/Boost/Virgin prepaid phone (e.g., from Best Buy) with RingPlus.
  • Upgrading a line to a different plan is NOT an activation and will not trigger an FED check
  • A device swap will trigger an FED check on the phone being activated
  • To date, all R+ phones which have been deactivated are passing the FED check (with 1 exception), although this is not guaranteed by policy
Roaming included with M+, Roaming for non-M+ $50+tax
Per minute / per MB charges still apply. M+ & non-M+, 14? per minute, 55? per MB, SMS roaming just substracts from allotment.
https://social.ringplus.net/discu...t/17213/p1
https://social.ringplus.net/discu...-top-up/p1

FreedomPop phones purchased post FED (04/16/16) must be on FP for a minimum of 6 months before FP will release the ESN.

If you cancel your current line with R+ then you will lose the remaining top-up balance for that line, your phone number, and the phone from the canceled line. Also, in some cases, you will not be able to register a new free line using the phone from the canceled line until the end of the billing cycle (<1 day up to 30 days max), although you can use a placeholder for new registrations and swap in the canceled phone for $1.99 as an easy workaround if that happens. To this point, all deactivated R+ phones have been able to reactivate new R+ plans despite FED policy, although the billing cycle may come into play on occasion. Update: On May 6, someone reported that they deactivated a iPhone 6s from R+, and it would not reactivate. A BYOD check gave the message that it failed FED. This is the only report of a R+ activated phone getting deactivated and then not meeting FED.

R+ classified is now open for business. https://social.ringplus.net/class.../items/all

The large MMS allotments of 4750 MMS is a big deal, as it is larger than the typical R+ MMS allotments. The plan overall is one of the best. Starting at a near high of all allotments for a non-M+ plan at 4750 minutes/texts/MMS/data, and reaching the highest non-M+ plan with 6000 each after the five monthly increases.

says FULL SPEED LTE so very doubtful. I think they made it pretty clear and generous this time, just what we needed after some rough going lately.

Will the upgrade fee go towards top off?? that would be even better, I'm betting on it. uh I need to learn to read

A $25 upgrade fee will be charged to your credit card, and added to your existing Top Up.

That's actually really nice of them. I'll have to give it a shot, and if I don't get it I guess that's my bad karma for trying to take advantage of a glitch. Smilie

I am on the cheerful plan with 4k of everything, but no MMS at all and this is extremely tempting.
