Paid $280 for mine. It is adequate for small lawns. Cut isn't quite as clean as a gas mower, but you dont have to deal with gas and the smell of gas on your clothes. No regrets, but I do wish the cut was more clean.

Ugh, nothing in NorCal, I need a lawn mower bad. Moved from an apartment to a house a month ago and the grass is now a foot tall

That's one hell of a deal. Bought mine last time too for $279. It is a great mower for what it is as long as you don't cut with shortest setting. Both my batteries ran out within 35 mins of usage and it struggled a lot. Once I set to medium cut, it worked great.

Check coupons.target.com for another 15% off to make it extra slick. Unfortunately no NJ store carries the mower. But I did get the 20v blower for $27 last night.
