"Just spoke with a TMobile chat specialist and here are my findings.

There IS a promotion this weekend 8/19-8/21 however it is ONLY in select markets. Boston; Denver/Colorado Springs; Detroit; Houston; Orlando and Phoenix.

She said the Note 7 is NOT included in the promotion and that JUMP On Demand customers do not qualify for the Buy One Get One promotion as well"

Hopefully they include the Note 7. That's what I was waiting on to purchase.

For sure, no Note 7, and the comment above about select markets is correct

Edit: You've already added the info I was suggesting OP Smilie It may be worth noting that the plans are subject to throttling after 26GB as well.

Is it for new customers or existing one too?

I hope it's for existing customers too. T-Mobile has the tendency to treat new customers better...

well, for plans, existing customers can join new plans/promos

for phones, mostly the same thing as above (might charge $10-$20 new simcard feed that's usually waived for new customres)

I will pull the trigger if Note 7 is included.

According to the chat posted above, it sounds like the second (free) phone is only for a newly added line, not an existing one, and the free phone must remain active on the new line, if I understood it correctly. Deal-breaker for me.

I think you're absolutely correct. That was my interpretation of the conversation.
