It appears the 1080p touch option just recently became available (although I'm not sure exactly when). I just realized / noticed it is an option on dell.com and the microsoft store a few days ago. If anyone has this 1080p touch version (or has info about it), please chime in.

Background / why this is interesting: The FHD touchscreen fulfills a desire by those who want a touchscreen but don't want the tremendous battery drain and high-dpi issues associated with the QHD+ display. Unfortunately, there are no reviews of this configuration as of yet (that I could find), and my extensive googling only found one forum discussion about it (not on this site - I found some Canadians talking about by searching the display item # - first post was just 8 days ago).

I ordered one yesterday, so I hope it delivers.

A few more details for reference:

The display is listed on my order details as item no. 391-BCWK - "13.3 FHD (1920 x 1080) InfinityEdge touch display"

Dell customer service says it is a glossy screen.

10% off using code 10OFFAWXPS (says it expires August 25th, 2016)
Dell home order code: DNCWT5170B

edit: wow Dell seems to have taken away the coupon right after I posted.

Did you receive this FHD Touch option? Is the screen glossy and without the bezel the non-touch had (glass to the edge)?

Thanks much ...ooh and: I hope you enjoy this great little machine! Smilie

Did you receive this new FHD Touch version and is it glossy?
Also does the glass go all the way to the edge like the QHD or has it still that bezel around the display like the non-touch had?

Thanks much ...oh and: I hope you enjoy this great little machine Smilie

Did not receive it yet, but someone on another forum confirmed it is glossy and it sounds like it's like the QHD touchscreen physically. I assume it goes to the edge like the QHD touchscreen.

Thanks, I appreciate it. ....now if I could only find a retailer or online store that sells this thing. -it hurts to pay more for an FHD then the QHD costs on Amazon, because I can only seem to find the FHD touch on the Dell or Microsoft website and nowhere else :\

I couldn't find it anywhere else either. Might have to be patient, but eventually I'm sure you can get a deal (that's not really saying a lot, I know). Watch out for dell e.b.a.t.e.s too. Was at 10% recently, and last year it got to 13% from what I read. Currently 4%, though. Edit: now back at 10%.

Unfortunately, although code 10OFFAWXPS does appear to be active still (again says it expires on Aug 25th), it isn't currently working on this $999 FHD touch model. I actually noticed this before I bought mine, but I kept trying it (for a few days), and one night it actually worked. Go figure. I chatted with two Dell CS reps prior to my purchase. The first said the code should work, but they were having problems with their computer and he offered to do a call back (they never actually called me back). The second CS rep just said the code was only applicable to select models (and the one I was trying to buy was not one of them).
