I got a "refurbished" Poulan Pro chainsaw from these people. When I got it, it wouldn't even start. I tried everything, and no dice. None of the shops on their list of service centers would do Poulan warranty work. They all said that it wasn't worth it to them because Poulan pays them so little. So my only option was to ship the saw back. I decided to check the spark plug. It was totally fouled. A $5 new plug later, my saw started right up, but it was clear that the carb was not properly adjusted, so I had to buy an $8 tool on Amazon to do that.

At least in my case, it was clear that to VMInnovations, refurbished simply means "returned for replacement while still under warranty". How can they call it refurbished if they didn't even try to start it up?

Anyone has experience with the $339.99 Lawn Mower version...
I've been looking for a replacement to my older Craftsman.
It's a real upgrade or should I save up for a Honda's one?

Any reason to go with this husqvarna blower over a Stihl BG 50 for the same price from a local dealer?

Worth waiting for an end of summer sale? Can't see myself getting a ton of use until next spring at this point in time. Anyone know if the Husqvarna 128LD and 440 ever go cheaper?

It was $100 in March: https://slickdeals.net/e/8537119-refurbished-husqvarna-128ld-28cc-2-stroke-string-trimmer-weed-whack... but everything I've read about will make me pass on it at any price

that sucks. I also got the poulan pro 16". it also did not start. i literally kept pulling and pulling and then i quit and did it the next day and after like 30 min it started up. it being my first chainsaw i didnt pay any mind to the moving chains, went to cut something and it would shut off. try restarting, and try cutting something and it dies. then i went to youtube and found how to adjust the carb, it was off by like half a degree and now it works everytime perfectly. they should really take a look at their equipment prior to shipping. they price was awesome but still.
