Maybe I missed something but the MX300 525gb ssd is $130 on Amazon right now. Seems like the current model and a better deal.

The Amazon drive is TLC and slower than the one in this deal that is MLC. This is eBay deal looks great!

Here is a Side-By-Side Comparison: LINK [userbenchmark.com]

The MX300 is the new kid on the block from Crucial and is supposed to compete with the EVO 850 using 3D TLC NAND.

Yeah it looks really fast to me, I doubt it's much slower if any.

Briefly read the link, what I could understand of all that lingo was that the MX300 series was generally faster.

While the MX200 has faster read and random read speeds (13-14%), the MX300 seems to excel at everything else in comparison, including mixed operations. Would be a tough decision...

Here's a detailed review, where they definitely prefer the MX200: http://www.anandtech.com/show/102...nd-arrives

how does this compare to the new PNY CS1311? I see the 480GB version of the CS1311 on sale for ~$110 every now and then.
