While this may be the cheapest price I've seen on a 7.1 receiver, the no network capability is so essential for receivers these days that not having it makes this unit of no interest to me. We like the ability to stream music through DLNA or the Internet or to remote control the receiver from a phone. 7.2 receivers with network capability can be found for $70-$100 more, and it's worth paying that extr

Nice. This is even cheaper than most budget 2-channel receivers!

some is on the web, others are word of mouth. myself and 3 friends have ordered a total of 7 receivers from this since 2013. i had one marantz 5008 start popping after 6 months. another friends yamaha a740 would cut in and out of video. if you're within the warranty you have to send it to one of their "authorized" centers that sits on it a few weeks then calls and tells you if they did or did not fix it. in the case of my 5008 they couldn't figure it out and sent me another used one with scratches all down the front that someone appears to have just painted over.

i'm fairly certain when they say "factory refurbished" they really mean "factory authorized refurbished" which could be any little hole in the wall shop fixing used receivers

As others have pointed out, no wifi or ethernet port is a BAD deal in practical sense. Besides, too many Amazon users have complained about loss of audio after a few months of use. Stay away.
