You're paying 50% more at wholefoods vs someone like shoprite or other supermarket chains. I don't see the big deal in this.

Depends entirely what you buy. I'm there mostly for the bulk grains, etc. which I cannot find at other broad-line supermarkets. Forget Walmart. Organic produce is comparably priced, and I have to say that the stuff at WF is usually fresher.

If you're buying processed food, well, surprise, it's not that much healthier for you than anything else. Sugared cereal is sugared cereal. Doesn't matter where you get it from.
