Thanks! I was going to run out tomorrow to get some of these for a birthday present. Now I was able to get twice as many, and I don't have to worry about which store I'm going to. My daughter's friend is going to be so excited!

I first found the Lego Dimensions starter kit deal here: http://slickdeals.net/f/9027723-gcu-members-the-last-of-us-remastered-until-dawn-ps4-12-more-free-store-pickup?v=1

But in that thread they don't list the individual items so I guess this thread is warranted. Regardless, seeing the starter pack on sale in the other thread got me to search on Lego Dimensions and order everything I wanted before this thread was posted. Target is going to be getting a lot of returns because Lego Dimensions at 50% off + 20% off GCU at Best Buy is a whole lot better than the 40% off + 10% off cartwheel deal Target had earlier this week. Basically $6.47 (or $6.15 with RC) vs. $4.79 at Best Buy for each fun pack.

Also, spending the money at Best Buy helped me cross the threshold to get my Amex $25 offer credit.

The way I see it, ~$5 for a popular minifig is a steal... thanks!

This is a pretty good deal due to the selection, but the GCU discount is one of those things where you need to bring out your calculator to see if it instantly means a discount for you.

Because you're spending $30 for that GCU membership.

So, Lego Dimensions at 50% off + 20% off GCU ($30 for membershipt) at Best Buy vs. 40% off + 10% off cartwheel deal Target.

Unless you plan on buying games from Best Buy, the $4.79 is not a direct reality. I suppose if you bought ~25 Lego Fun Packs @ $5.99 each, then it would pay off because you'd be spending enough to warrant the $30 savings.

For me, I just want the Lego Fun packs without the $30 additional fee if I want 20% off. Because I don't buy video games at Best Buy and I find they are not the cheapest anyway.

If you're an AMEX holder, this deal would be much better and the membership would basically be negated by the $25 offers they have.

Anyway, good deal overall, but people need to be advised they will need to pay another $30 for the GCU membership.

I repurchased the starter pack and some level/fun packs to return to Target and Best Buy since I'd previously purchased them at a higher price. Got my subtotal over $100, so was able to use the Visa Checkout $10 off deal to make this even more slick. Smilie

I think by now most gamers have a GCU membership. It was great when it used to stack with BF prices...
