Love these little switches and this is the cheapest I've ever seen them.

Looks like there is a limit of 3. I tried to buy more but couldn't.

I don't really use them to save energy. I use them to conveniently turn things on and off without having to plug/unplug it. For some things it can add a great deal of convenience.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

This got me thinking... all those wall switches for lights are useless... just unscrew the damn bulbs.

I was just looking at these yesterday but couldn't justify $8 each

How about this novel idea? Unplug your damn coffee maker when you aren't using it. Honestly, this device is useless. If it was on an entire brick with 6 outlets doing this it would be feasible. The fact that it only does one device is dumb. Most people have power bricks because they have so many devices connected. If you have one device to hook this into simply just disconnect it and you don't need this device.

This device isn't that smart since you have to manually flick the button to turn it on/off. How is that any different than just unplugging/plugging your device back in. Wow are we getting lazy.

I would rather use this than plug and unplug my coffee maker 700+ times a year and I'm sure it saves wear and tear on the plug and outlet
but if you really need a 6 outlet one here ya go https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...29QT0IENFR

Thanks. Got 2. My wife has a habit of not unplugging the damn espresso maker and rolls her eyes when I remind her to do so. To the guy above. Don't use a remote keyless entry either. Use the key to lock and unlock your car. And open garage door by hand, throw away the opener. Let's see how long till your spouse goes apeshit on you. Big Grin

Good point, but wall switches are just that (located at convenient places on the wall) not a switch at the plugs source. If this item was self detecting and shut off by itself, then it's a must have. However, it's just an inconveniently located switch. Pass.

Well said.

In for one. I'm going to use it for my toaster. I absolutely hate having to unplug and replug it. Thanks OP. TU!
