Please, some advice. Which Z170 board should I buy for the i7-6700K, little bit of gaming but mostly image processing.

Can you overclock a K CPU on the ASRock H97M-ITX/ac?

I can't seem to find a Z97 mini ITX board anywhere. Already have a i5-4690K and want to move to a smaller case but it seems that the only mini ITX boards for this CPU are not Z97.

I'm in on the X99 board. Will make a descent backup to my Asus X99 deluxe and I'm sure it will come in handy a couple of years from now when the v3 xeons hit the second hand market, just like with X79 & X58 before that.

I am interested to know as well. If someone would chime in on performance, reliability, price. I'm getting ready for my next build.

Can anyone say if the MSI Z170-A Pro will be on sale again this month for $80 after coupon, no rebate? Just wondering, because it's gone on sale once a month for the past several months. But, if it's skipped this month, then I might want to pick up a motherboard deal from here if these are the best sales I can get

I hate you and I love you slick deals, desperately needed another motherboard, but this deal came at the worst timing and left me with like 30 in my bank account. xD Just wanted to post and say thanks, I needed a fx990 and there was no deals for em checked and this code worked on them as well with a $20 mail in rebate bringing the total to $89 for a mobo that was the last of its kind. So I appreciate you posting this but wish it was 2 weeks from now. XD

never finding an 1155 board with a large max ram and many PCI slots is going to force me to upgrade my damn i7 (sandybridge) up to whatever has the most cores for my video editing and gaming.
