Love Dolica tripods, they are well made at a great price!

I have this tripod. It is great for the price. The leg angles have 3 locked positions but the tab that pulls out to lock it to the positions can be difficult to adjust. Would still recommend this over cheaper alternatives.

Seems like a decent buy but only 2.5 lbs? Hard to believe. That's lighter than all carbon fibers except maybe some Gitzo's

So how does this compare with Dolica LA600 Pro 60-Inch Aluminum Alloy Traveler Edition Tripod (Black) which is frequently on sale for about the same price? I need something that can support a D750 with a 70-200 lens on it?

i have a ravelli that works quite well, but when i rotate my 60D with the sigma 18-35 for portraits, the clip holding the camera to the tripod might lose its grip..... disappointing considering the tripod says it can hold upto 8lbs with no problem, while the camera+lens is less than half of that

can this be more durable? what do you guys think?
