Awesome price. Those of you worrying about 4K - stop worrying. 4K content is scant and will burn through data caps in a matter of few hours. Until datacaps are removed, dont invest in a 4K device. Not worth the premium.

My 60 inch Samsung plasma just died. It was only 2 1/2 years old, purchased from a Dell deal.

As such, I need a new one. Is this Sony TV any good? Appears my local Walmart has 2 in stock at $499. I don't need anything too fancy, just a nice picture and reliability that will last more than 2 yrs. Will we see better deals around Black Friday ?

Yeah, this TV is stupid if it can't display 4k that's it wasn't designed for. It's stupid too if it can't change its size, become OLED, and curve itself too. What a stupid tv...

My ISP has 250GB per month data cap on a few of the Internet plans. You need at least 30mbs to stream 4k.

How does this TV stand with the Samsung UN60J6200? I have the Samsung and my roommate wants a 60-65" TV and this is in this price range. Is this TV any good at the price? The Walmart close to me has 2 or more available and is listed at $499 when I checked online for Local Store. I might pay a visit tomorrow and see.
